Like the title says, my summer is going! I actually haven’t been doing much since the beach. Just the usual doing work for my family, posting goofy things on Facebook and trying to figure out what Damages is about. Seriously, the commercials don’t reveal nearly enough about the plot. I just want the commercials to tell me what happens. So far I’ve figured out that John Goodman is either a preacher, a general or some sort of American military, terrorist (like Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men). Glen Close is angry…again. That’s the only definite thing I’ve figured out: Glen Close is angry a lot. Rose Byrne is the quiet, attractive she-lawyer. That’s all I’ve got so far.
I’ve been doing some ‘work’ for my family. It isn’t really work, but I enjoy it. I’ve just been doing small things like watering plants and cutting grass for my aunt and uncle. Staying with William while Uncle Joel is at work, which has been fun!
I’ve been watching a lot of Star Wars recently. I hope to have patience like Hon Solo. Look at what George Lucas threw at that guy! Oh, here’s the nagging princess. Oh, and now the Empire is now trying to kill you. Oh, you get to travel with a robot…No, not the cool, little one, the gay one. And; one more thing, we’re going to freeze you in carbonite. I imagine, after all that, road trips with the kids were easy as pie. I hadn’t watched these movies since I was young. The dialogue was much cooler then. But I still love these movies! Haha Anakin is such a creeper in The Clone Wars. I’ll probably post some more about Star Wars.
Finishing, last week we went to Church Camp. I think a lot of people were blessed from it. Last year I was so pumped and excited on returning home. This year I felt more focused. I feel like I need to get active and make a difference. I’ll let you know what happens with that.
